Afagaf Company Ltd. has recorded a significant milestone with the formal issuance of the Permit to Access Flare Gas (PAFG) for the Oguta Flare Site (OML 20) under the Nigerian Gas Flare Commercialisation Programme (NGFCP).
The permit was presented during the official PAFG Issuance Ceremony, attended by Engr. Paul Afagase Johnson, The Managing Director/CEO and the Management Team. The issuance of the PAFG authorises Afagaf Company Ltd. to proceed with the commercial utilisation of flare gas at the Oguta site, in line with Nigeria’s gas flare reduction and energy transition objectives.

This development reinforces Afagaf’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions, environmental responsibility, and the advancement of Nigeria’s gas commercialisation agenda. By converting previously flared gas into productive use, the project will contribute to reduced emissions, improved energy efficiency, and increased economic value.
Afagaf Company Ltd. remains focused on delivering high-impact energy and infrastructure projects that align with national development goals while creating long-term value for stakeholders and host communities.
